Read MoreIf you ever to get a pair of Klipsch Cornwalls I definitely suggest you pick them up. They are probably one of the most engaging speakers I've every heard. The highs and the midrange are very extended and are also very open and air. For my tast no sub is needed to help the low end. The lower octaves on this speaker are very tight and go as low as I would need a speaker to go. I am using this system with a 2a3 singled end amp which drives these just fine. I usually listen to these speakers at lower volumes than some of you and for me they sound great.

Some Background
The Cornwalls were first introduced to the public in 1959 and built by Klipsch until 1985. The Cornwall III's are now in production and can be purchased new. Due to the speakers efficiency I like them paired with decent tube amps.
