Howdy,
I have the real Radio Shack 8-track player that matches your "beginer" amp. I bought it in Augusta Maine in 1977, from rad shack, Whooping cost was $19.99 plus tax. I have over 1200 tapes ! The thing every once in a while eats the rubber band drive, I have only demagnetized the head, and cleaned with alchol, I don't think the old "scuffy" headcleaner were good for players ( with 30 years time on it, I guess that point is not debateable is it?) what you think

Good Tune @ 1:17 and Nice Setup, I have alot of audio equipment but not as old as the stuff you have, the oldest piece of audio equipment that I own is this big "Ghetto Blaster" boombox made by Magnavox and its pretty loud but the audio is distorted when its up all the way, I run it with the bass just under half way and its fine, I have a video of it playing nirvana's smells like teen spirit but i dunno about uppinn it to youtube b/c i dont wanna get flagged
