would i be able to use these products to make my speakers louder?

  1. i see what you are saying the answer is yes and no.

    the preamps are more of a device to replace the mixer if you only had like one input needed for the recording you are doing.

    If you take the output of something and boost the signal with those before inputing them into your mixer the input signal will be distorted when you turn your channel fader up. if you want loud you have to buy a higher powered amplifier and speaker set to do it right. this way will only distort your sound more and even worse you will hear all of it in the recording because it will be pre-mixer.

    I say dump the 10 w amp and just go to walmart or something and get one of those stereo’s they have there but make SURE that it has an RCA (or Aux or sometimes called line)input that you can plug your mixer’s output into.

    I did that for a while when I was on a really tight budget and it actually sounds pretty decent.
